ART RESOURCE: BRUSHES
This is a (currently) WIP brush bundle for Krita, aiming to be an alternative of CSP assets. I try to cover many different techniques that could be used in an art piece, with a heavy focus on using simple opacity brushes and then mixers for blending, instead of blendy brushes by default. It's just the workflow I'm most familiar with & one that works very well with a default Krita install.
Hopefully, the brushes are also light enough to use on Android devices/machines with lower RAM without lag, as that is also a priority of mine.
All of my own DIY assets (the brushes themselves & the brushtips) are under the CC-BY license, meaning you're free to do whatever you want as long as you give credit.

New Color Study of PG50 Cobalt Teal/Cobalt Turquoise went life today.
I show swatches, mixes and a monochromatic painting to see how the pigment behaves during painting. This usually shows all its properties better and... is fun for me. :D -
In a recent stream I was asked how to do dry brushing properly... because you don't need to use only dry paint to do it and it's actually very easy.
Dry brushing is a great way to add texture to your painting for wood, sand, water and even fur!

It's a wonderful pigment, almost glowing from within creating a magical vibe.In the video I share as always mixes, swatches and a monochromatic painting, where you can see how the pigment actually behaves when painting.

anyone proficient enough in the sketchbook app know what brushes were used (or similar ones) in the sample image? Looking at the artist’s portfolio did not help me too much.

I found a cool website while looking for art references. The tutorial convinced me to start figure drawing. After a couple of daily practice sessions I'm getting better at understanding the shape and form of human bodies. hope others find this site useful and maybe convince some others to try drawing.
