I really hope to rescan the masterless comics without harming the newspapers that carry them. Scanning paper comics has never been so stressful. It's also wild that "Sammy" is literally the only surviving comic from Zitro No Loca Arts (ZNArts) that still has surviving masters. #artpreservation

Lost media archeology is wild. I obtained original copies of pages that were gifted/sold to fans from the first comic I ever self-syndicated to indie papers. (You guys rock!) I also found the first drawing I ever made of Samuel Rock Hill. Some comics only exist in old newspapers. #artpreservation

The paints for the doors is done the vegetable dyes. The Lotus Gate is currently being restored using the traditional methods.
The Banana Leaf Gate also pictured represents Autumn.
