So I've been spending a little time with a game called #Sno on my Steamdeck over the last hour or two.
It's a snowboarding/skiing game that is pure vibes. It's got a trick system, although it's no SSX game. It's mainly just a nice way to spend half an hour. The game looks lovely, it sounds lovely and it's just got some real nice chilled out vibes.
Actually, it kind of reminds me of #ArtOfRally from a few years ago. Maybe less objective based I guess.
Only cost me a few quid too, and it's got a photo mode.

Me he metido una buena picada al #SuperWodenRallyEdge que acaba de salir.
No es comparable al #ArtOfRally. Y no por ser uno mejor o peor. En su pequeño nicho son diferentes y ambos son geniales en lo que se enfocan. Este tiene una conducción muy guapa. No llega a ser tan toca polla como puede llegar a ser el Art of Rally.
Quise saber antes de comprarlo si venía con el DRM de #Steam o no. Para, posiblemente, esperarme a #GOG. Todavía no lo sé. No lo he probado. Ya me lo quedo.

#ArtOfRally me pareció horrible al probarlo en #Epic (lo regaló hace relativamente poco) y ahora me encanta.
Es un gran ejemplo de estilo artístico marcado, definido y/o personal. Le queda muy bien, oye.

The racing genre is one often seen as providing little opportunity for a game to present a unique voice; Art of Rally proves this is not the case, with an expressive take on rally racing.

Filled my cup with some #volunteering this weekend, with a couple of hours running archery for a handful of #Scouts on Saturday and then another couple of hours at the Scout Hall working bee on Sunday!
Still found some time to play games - I've almost finished Art of Rally and it's become one of my favourite games of all time.
Lots of #MISTerFPGA #arcade tinkering too - interspersed with playtesting some of the greatest games of all time: Jetpac, Gradius, Armalyte.
Found time for a couple of rides too, including a local tour of #canberra lakeside attractions with an interstate visitor. A bike is a great way to see a lot.

I played the hell out of it on release - on Switch and XBox - managing to get ranked fairly high on most of the tracks and really falling in love with both the game's aesthetic and its sublime handling.
I even bought a custom physical copy from Limited Run games - it comes with a make-your-own cardboard rally car!
But eventually I put it away and moved on to other games. As a result, it was only last week that I found out about some DLC released in Nov 2023. It's Australia (which is where I live), so I jumped on my primary console - now a PS5 - and bought the game and the DLC ($26 for both) and I've spent the weekend driving around the dusty back roads of Australia admiring the little touches like the windmills, kangaroos and emus and falling in love with the driving model all over again.
