Ghul’Volanous “flying ghoul” pencil and charcoal drawing. ✏️ 👽
It is from the same planet as the Kobalos Savra. The creature’s silhouette is a mixture of a ghoul, a pterodactyl, and a kite.
Unlike the Kobalos, the Ghul’Volanous prefers to inhabit the cliffsides outside of the mountain rather than the interior.#scifi #scifiart #alien #myart #sketch #pencildrawing #drawing #monster #fantasyart #doodle #zeichnen #horror #art #artist #artofmastadon #artistsofmastodon #Konaa #Kmac #macNessa #Konaa

Throwback fan art I drew of Mike Mignola’s character, Abe Sapian, from the Guillermo Del Toro directed Hellboy franchise.
Seeing anything with my old signature feels like finding something from a time capsule.

From wee doodle to full Extraterrestrial Satyr drawing. ✏️ 👽 🐐
I’ll be taking votes for what sort of environment this alien species is from. Mountain ranges, Tropical regions, Temperate forests, or Grasslands?

Installation by JR Artist
Story: "Eight years ago, I was invited by the Rio Olympics to be artist in residence. it allowed me for the first time to build a project using scaffolding at the scale of the city. We installed the image of three athletes in movement at a monumental scale in different parts of Rio. Actually, the athletes were not part of the selection because they were injured or because their performances were not good enough. The idea was to insist on the beauty of the gesture, not on the medals. We also took part in the opening ceremony with an inside Photo Booth truck printing of portraits of athletes from all over the world.
Today the Olympics open in my city of Paris, and I was very honored to bear the torch two weeks ago at the Louvre where I have so many incredible memories.
Let’s see these Olympics as a celebration of universality, as a place where all athletes have the same objectives, the same vision, the same dreams."Via EYE FB page

I usually plan out prints in their entirety but last night I just kept throwing things on a single sheet of paper, almost like a collage. Kind of a fun result, got a space jellyfish kind of vibe.

Some student work shared with permission from Monday Makings .. an art lesson with a focus on understanding tonal values and effective use of negative space. Using 'simple' subject matter helps the student to understand the play of light and the importance of using the full range of tonal values. We also discussed ways to translate a photographic subject to painting. Inspiration photo credit https://photos.com/featured/red-tulip-flower-martin-child.html?product=art-print

In this tile I used a string I dreamed of. As I usually don't remember my dreams I had to do tiles with this string. Here I used patterns Moon Pie, Tipple, Doodah, Knightsbridge, Munchin, Printemps and Ambler, plus Fragments F 25 and H21.

So many people want you to be a carbon copy of themselves. What a boring world that would be. I’ve taken the old adage Live and let live a step further and added Love and let love. We need to embrace our uniqueness and differences, not silence them. It’s HERE: https://hhphotography.pixels.com/featured/life-and-love-unchained-hh-photography-of-florida.html
