I have finally seen Wim Wenders' 'Perfect Days'.
Koji Yakusho won a Palme d'Or for his acting, which seems about right. The movie didn't win one, which is about right too.
It's one that has lots of influences, and I've reviewed it in three crappy graphics, below.

Tinto Brass's later films such as The Voyeur (1994) are very sexy but they're also often very arty, goodnatured and amusing. The Voyeur is a provocative intelligent erotic art film about voyeurism but also about secrets, lies and fantasies.

Perfect viewing for a Winter Solstice evening.
2013’s hypnotic ‘A Spell To Ward Off The Darkness’, an experimental movie that follows the lead through three psychologically charged Nordic environments - an Estonian commune, a Finnish forest, a Norwegian Black Metal gig.
I love Ben Rivers’ work and could watch his stuff all day.

You'll either love Pasolini's Medea (1969) or hate it. A bold attempt to transport the viewer into a totally alien society in which Medea's shocking actions make perfect sense. Visually amazing. Maria Callas is extraordinary.
