Art is everywhere, right? Well, this abstract distressed work started out with the underside of my porridge pot that's been in use for going on 30 years. If you look closely you can see remnants of "Edelstahl" at the center, German for stainless steel. Other textures came from Kim Klaasen and TextureLabs.

Day 13 of #JanuaryJoy and #ArtJanuaryCalendar. A page from an as-yet unbound #ArtJournal. The page is a flat paper bag featuring vintage images & text. Once folded in half, it was the perfect size for a folio, yielding 4 pages and a pocket. The stitching is decorative. I used a #LibraryPocket and an altered circulation card. The flowers are from a magazine, but I used a packing tape transfer, rendering them transparent instead of just collaging them. #Flowers #Yoga #ImageTransfer
