Apple Discussion is going around again and so I thought it might be neat to try and show what I "see"??

The top is kinda how stuff comes through when I imagine it, and the bottom is what happens if I work only from imagination based that.

Glitch Apple™️ is just an approximation.

I more closely describe what's in there as seeing stuff through a window in heavy rain. Things are blurry and vibes-based, and ability to rotate/distort is limited!!

Got some cheap waterbrush pens* and wanted test their performance, as well as how the paper in my sketch pad would stand water. Result; paper - as expected, pens - surprisingly good. And I ended up with this nice pic.

*stay _tuned_. Anyway, post one the list is checked off - much to my surprise. This is just the first layer of gouache, but I'm notoriously impatient so I'll let this dry overnight. That way I won't destroy an area just because it *looks* dry enough to paint on. Enjoy the pic of my set up!

@fluffyfied That's a cool idea. I think sketchbooks are good if you're out and about a lot and don't necessarily always have a flat surface. But if you draw primarily in a studio setting? You don't really need one, it's just a matter of preference at that point 👍 I know I have issues having a nice sketchbook and it feeling too "precious", like I can't just SKETCH in this I'll ruin it LOL #ArtistThings

Watching #PaintedInColor, episode 12 about #ImposterSyndrome. I'm really loving all the things #LaurenBrown has to say. She talks about envisioning your ideal self. She said it's like the difference between being stranded in the ocean with no land in sight, versus being stranded in the ocean but there's something on the horizon to swim towards. You might not know exactly how to get there, but at least there's a direction to go in. #Art #ArtistThings #Podcast

@Erine Oof yeah. I think the trick is moderation. Like, commit to spending a portion of your art time pushing yourself, but then also let yourself work in the ways that are natural and fun for you. <3 #ArtistThings

@Curator Green is not my favorite color but all my paintings from 2019 heavily featured sage or mint green 😂 . I take screenshots when I see an image with luscious colors and I have a folder on my phone just for those pics. 😁 #ArtistThings #ColorInspiration
