  9. Rough thoughts on ethical standards for SCOTUS Justices. Article III imposes a "good behavior" standard for judges. There is no Constitutional reason why SCOTUS judges cannot be constitutionally held to the same standards of ethics as district or circuit court judges. Congress has the constitutional power to impose ethical rules to SCOTUS.
