أطلق مشروع Tor تحديثاً جديداً لأداة Arti المكتوبة بلغة Rust يحمل الرقم 2.5، ويركز على تعزيز الأمان والسرعة. يتضمن التحديث تفعيل ميزة التشفير المتقدم لحماية حركة المرور، وتشغيل التحكم في الازدحام تلقائياً لتسريع الشبكة. كما يعالج الإصدار ثغرتين أمنيتين متوسطتي الخطورة من نوع حجب الخدمة، ويتطلب الآن استخدام إصدار Rust 1.91 كحد أدنى. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يواصل المشروع تطوير قدرات الأداة لتعمل كمرحل وسلطة دليل مع إصلاحات برمجية متعددة.
