Día 5 Del Birdtober por Palestina
- I can't wear the Keffiyeh. Because of... consequences.
- I'll wear it for you.

Que la libertad llegue compartida. 🍉🐦🐦⬛
Y que la lucha sea a tu lado.

¡ La #SumudFlotilla Vive! 🇵🇸🐦⬛⛵🍉

Updates on the sales for Coffees for Gaza:

Onions and Garlic is sold.
Because I am very slow in making these drawings, and considering the urgent needs of the families in Gaza, I decided it's best to donate each purchase (excluding shipping costs and Paypal fees) directly each time I receive them, instead of accumulating a certain sum.
Thank you so much to the generous person who bough my drawing.
It's been my birthday last week and we went kayaking on our beautiful little river. Along the way, we met some furry companion that made it all the way up from the sea to the river, and back from the river to the sea.
Borders are fictional and arbitrary. I sometimes really feel that instead of 'remaining humans', we should actually be more like other animals.
Or like my beloved character Mór, who, from the deep sea, has a moral clarity many lack.
I am participating in a drawing challenge #drawtabkha lunched by the art collective Coffees for Gaza, and decided to put up my drawing for sale on Ko-fi. All revenues will be donated to families in Gaza, so if anyone would like to own some culinary art of typical Palestinian cuisine, you can find them here:
I decided to approach the challenge as a personal, Mediterranean, cultural exploration project.
A 🧵
I draw the illustration for the poem "Oh Rascal Children of Gaza" by Palestinian writer Khaled Juma.
Oh rascal children of Gaza,
You who constantly disturbed me with your screams under my window,
You who filled every morning with rush and chaos,
You who broke my vase and stole the lonely flower on my balcony,
Come back –
And scream as you want,
And break all the vases,
Steal all the flowers,
Come back,
Just come back…
