  1. You might not have heard of artist Mark T. Smith, but prints of his work go for upwards of $10,000 on eBay — and they're often stolen or rescued from trash. The story dates back to 2002, when Smith was asked to create art for Taco Bell that would complement its brand colors. He came up with a trio of works made with acrylic, crayon and cut paper, inspired by artist and illustrator Maxfield Parrish. These have garnered such an online following that there's now a thriving black market for them. “I think it’s really cool,” the artist told Artnet. “There is this whole subculture of collecting and trading and stealing.” Here's more.

  4. Saving the best for last? So many of my artist friends told me this has been their slowest November. The month is not over yet. Buy something from a local artist, even that art bottom and sticker go a long way. Kids and teens collect them. They make great stocking stuffers and start their first art collection. iris-richardson.pixels.com/sho

  5. Thank you for all you who boost my work. More eyes on my work gives me a better chance to sell my work. I promote every day, several time a day. It is a never-ending job. When I make a art sale I think about all you little elf who make it happen.

  6. The Economy of Arts - Should you invest in art in 2023?

To the young collectors, my advice is, to find a local artist whose work you enjoy. Get to know the art and artists. Create a budget for your art collection. Buy art because you love it and you would love it even if the art never gained value.

Sympathy for others is a duty in our human nature. Let us share our moments with others so that we can always do good, which will come back to us in the best way.
The hand is our society and we are individually a part of it. So, we are sharing the same life, joy and sadness.
