Back in March I had a burst of energy and did make a couple of abstract pieces (basically to reacquaint myself with my software given how little I had been using them). The light version of the subsequent "Glass Waves" pieces is included in the most recent Ubuntu Studio LTS release, so hopefully some people out there are enjoying it. Revisisted a base I made for a collab previously (you can see the outcome of that one here: https://mastodon.art/@smilingdemon/111499126992991964). The collab went a totally different direction so this felt like a good place to continue with my efforts to get some motivation back in art wise.

My second scifi submission for Vol 14. This is also based on the writting of Alastair Reynolds, this time it is "The Last Stand of John the Revelator", from his book Inhibitor Phase.

As with the last one, a mix of Blender, C4d with Octane and Photoshop. Also used Embergen for the explosions.

Been a while since a #ThrowbackThurday post! So here is "The Search" created for Project Aurora: Blue back in 2020.

A mix of #fractals created in #Mandelbulb3D, figures modelled and rendered with Daz3D and #Cinema4D (also used for the fish) and the put together in #Photoshop after.
