Here's a unique perspective for ya.
When I was a 9yo white boy, my fam & I moved from a tiny hippy town in NorCal ( #bolinas ) where all skin colors (incl. my fam), all religions & all things divergent were normal, to Taos, NM, US in November 1979. There were VERY few kids in school (1 or 2) w/ white skin like mine & w/ blonde hair especially living in the "Barrios" around like #arroyoseco, #talpa near #taos. I know what being a violently hated minority is. #newmexico
