#arrowverse Arrow fliegt demnächst bei Amazon raus und ich habe nun die Staffel 3 abgeschlossen, die glücklicherweise ihrerseits ein Finale der drei Staffeln darstellt.
Die Serie blieb in den drei Staffeln auf konstant hohem Niveau mit vielen inhaltlichen Überraschungen, meist gut besetzten Rollen und immer wieder interessant gefilmt.
Den Folgen 13-23 von S3 habe ich mit 8-10 Sternen (von 10) bewerten – auffallend hoch.
The Flash bleibt dagegen weiterhin recht belanglos (bin Mitte S1).

Die dritte Staffel Arrow läuft mit der ersten Staffel The Flash verschränkt und der Unterschied könnte nicht größer sein. Auf der einen Seite The Arrow, etwas düster, meist komplexe Charaktere, gute Darsteller, verschachtelte Handlung und fucking Captain Jack Harkness. Und auf der anderen Seite dieser skurrile Kindergeburtstag bei The Flash: Oberflächlich, unterentwickelt, unterkomplex und leider auch gar nicht lustig. Das werde ich so nicht lange durchhalten 😂.

#thearrow #arrowverse Staffel 1 überraschend gut. Staffel 2 ebenfalls gelungen, aber etwas zu viele Themen und somit weniger fokussiert als Staffel 1.
Dass Amazon das Staffelfinale der zweiten Staffel nur als entstellte deutsche Version anbietet und ich mir diese eine Folge bei Apple in OV kaufen musste war allerdings unerwartet. Amazon hat die Mehrsprachigkeitsprobleme wohl immer noch nicht im Griff.

Ich teste gerade das #arrowverse https://arrowverse.info/# . Folge 1 von Arrow wirkt noch ein bisschen kühl und die Charaktere wenig nahbar. Ich hoffe, das bessert sich noch, ansonsten würde ich gleich zu The Flash springen.
Laut den Reviews sollen wohl die ersten 2-3 Staffeln jeweils gut sein. Supergirl kenne ich noch und hatte es in Staffel 2 wegen Belanglosigkeit abgebrochen, habe aber nun Lust, das einmal halbwegs im Gesamtzusammenhang und mit den Crossovers zu sehen (480 Folgen aus 3 Serien)

A fitting end to #supermanandlois and finally and officially, the end of the #Arrowverse. Last 13 minutes of the series finale were very emotional. I will never stop being sad that Supergirl ruined the entire Arrowverse for me.
There were so many genuinely great stories in there. But every time I go to re-watch one, I can't even look at the "Play" button for any of them without flashing back to Supergirl's (I think it was) Season 4 and again being overwhelmed by the nausea and chill of fear I felt when I first saw it. Even mentioning it now, my heart rate goes up and I feel "fight or flight" starting to kick in.
A really good example of the dynamic I described back here, of how depictions I find dangerous and terrifying are often met with equanimity compared to the ludicrous, over-the-top depictions I find amusing.
