I appreciate that #ArrowheadStudios generally adheres to its rules around the in-universe aesthetics of #Helldivers2.
Like yeah, crossovers with Halo and Killzone walk the line, but the motifs of those games fit in HD. It's not like they added Cardi B or Beavis & Butthead skins.
I like #Destiny2's halloween event (Haunted Alters is fun this year), and I'm excited about #Borderlands4's event which should drop today.
But I'm glad Helldivers doesn't have a Halloween event, and I don't want one.

Actually at 28th place, with 35k players, a far cry from their 460k players.
It's behind games like #Warframe, #WarThunder, #Rust, #R6Siege, and well below the top 10.

I’m watching an essay breaking down #Helldivers2 from a live service and monetization standpoint and starting to wonder how long its currently formula will work.
#ArrowheadStudios has said they’re shooting for around one warbond per month. That’s 12 new sets of weapons, armor, and cosmetics. Is that a realistic pace? Will these weapons just start feeling same-y (some argue they already are)? Yeah you can earn currency in-game, but at face value that’s ~ $120/year game.

Am not on the Helldivers Discord server of the #ArrowheadStudios dev team, but here in a YouTube video, it is confirmed the Arc Thrower, Arc Shotgun and Tesla Tower are identified as the cause for freezes. A patch to fix this is expected to deploy early next week. Can confirm that the use of the Arc Thrower and the Arc-12 Blitzer are somehow related to the frequent crashes with the latest patch of Helldivers 2.
Mine happened at the end and second half of a mission. So that was a waste of time. Hope Arrowhead can identify and fix this soon.
