Tuesday evening, federal ofcls identified 4 of the #US victims as #ArmyReserve members who were killed Sunday during an unmanned aircraft system attack in the Shuaiba port in #Kuwait. The attack is under investigation.
The 4 named had all been assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command in Des Moines. They were Capt. Cody A. Khork & Sgts. Nicole M. Amor, Declan J. Coady & Noah L. Tietjens. The 2 other service members who were killed have not yet been identified. -

The #gunman, #RobertCard, was a #grenade instructor in the #ArmyReserve. In 2023, after 8 yrs of being exposed to thousands of skull-shaking blasts on the training range, he began hearing #voices & was stalked by #paranoid #delusions. He grew increasingly erratic & #violent in the months before the Oct rampage in #Lewiston, in which he killed 18 people & then himself.

Apparently the horrible Marjorie Taylor Green claimed the soldiers killed in Jordan would have rather have been at the #border.
Francine & Percell Moffett said no one can speak for their daughter but themselves & to MTG they said,
“Don’t use my daughter.”

Specialist Sanders & Specialist Moffett both enlisted in the #ArmyReserve in 2019 & were trained to operate heavy equipment, such as road graders. #Tower22 was Specialist Moffett’s first deployment. Specialist Sanders had been deployed once before, in 2021, to an American outpost in Djibouti.

The three who were killed on Sunday are part of an often overlooked part of the military that delivers supplies, maintains buildings, builds roads and does other routine work while shouldering the risk of operating in hostile territory.
