#ariss #ariss_SSTV #robot36 2026-05-10 03:20Z pass, I think I left the attenuator on as the images are a bit fuzzy.

And another one! 📺
This pass had a higher max elevation, but the results weren't better than with the previous pass. Sometimes it even seems that shallower passes, despite the longer distance the signal has to travel through the atmosphere, work better.
With a proper cross yagi or even some circular polarized antenna as well as actual tracking this might be a completely different case of course. I don't have any of that and the great thing about @ARISS_Intl is its accessibilty! 🙂

Better antenna, better reception.

Yes! They started transmitting right on top!
Happy Easter, Orthodox friends!

Qualche immagine raccolta in questi giorni durante la sessione di #sstv trasmessa dalla #iss

Just decoded this #sstv image from the #ISS Same radio and antenna I use for local repeaters. Free RX- SSTV software to decode the image. Easy and fun stuff for anyone, you don’t even need a ham radio license! #hamradio #ARISS_SSTV

Slow scan TV (SSTV) images from the International Space Station (ISS), transmitted at 5W, captured by my UHF satellite ground station overnight. https://network.satnogs.org/stations/1156/ #SatNOGS #ISS #Fram2ham #sstv #ariss_sstv

Received this slow scan TV (SSTV) image from the ISS earlier this evening as it passed over Eastern MA. #ariss_sstv

Caught these overnight. #amsat #ARISS_SSTV

@ARISS_Intl I'd be happy to send such pictures via #sstv in the future. Not everything always has to be serious ;-) #ariss_sstv #hamradio

I didn't get back quickly enough and didn't make it to the attic for the big antenna. But the picture is better than I expected for a cheap handheld radio with rubber antenna :-) #ARISS_SSTV #sstv #iss #robot36 #Radioddity

Its ON! The @ARISS_Intl #STTV Event images captured this morning from Steve #ZS6SHN #ARISS #ARISS_SSTV #ISS #AmateurRadio #HamRadio

Almost forgot about this #ISS pass for the @ARISS_Intl Special Event Didn't have time to set up Moxon Turnsitle antenna so grabbed HT with duckie antenna #AmateurRadio #hamradio #ARISS #ARISS_SSTV

It's not great, but I got a mostly legible copy of the SSTV transmission from the ISS! All things considered, just doing acoustic coupling from my crappy baofeng to my phone, not terrible!

Well it looks like i am not going to be able to get the #ARISS_SSTV experiment form home as couple the listed times don't even show in my future list in #gpredict namely the passes at
20231229 21:03 UTC <= This pass came nowhere near VK
20231230 20:13 UTCand the couple that I do have they just to low in elevation to even bother from my QTH
