🦇 Been playing #SuperCastlevaniaIV yesterday and, eh, I don't think it aged that well comapred to other games from the 16 bit era. 😅 Kind of surprised that this is hailed to be the among the best Castlevania games by many folks.
My first #Castlevania game was #AriaOfSorrow and I still like myself old school action side-scrollers but even for a #SNES game it is super hard to see what textures are actual platforms to jump on. 😑 Jumping into death though a stairway and getting shoved back by enemy hits ain't too much fun as well. Music is great though. ✌️ 🎶

I don't think I mentioned my physical Castlevania Advance Collection showed up this month!
I'm most of the way through replaying Aria of Sorrow. I haven't played this in forever so plenty of "Oh yeah!" remembrance moments. I love the soul system.
I got the bad ending and had to look up how to get the good one. I forgot how cryptic these games can be.
