#ESA had proposed a €304.4 million 💰 envelope for the #Ariane6 adaptations element. Member states ultimately committed just €145.94 million, leaving €158.46 million uncovered, a 52% shortfall.

#Arianespace hasn’t publicly disclosed the cost of an #Ariane6 launch 🕵️, but it is likely somewhere in the range of 80 million to 100 million euros.

#ESA has publicly confirmed that the European 🇪🇺 governments will need to subsidize each launch with between 32 million and 38 million euros 💶 per flight.

in 2 days the Canopee Ship reaches Bordeaux with empty cargo bay. Next will be Le Havre, Rotterdem and Bremen to prepare the next #Ariane6 start on 27.8 in Kourou.

🚀🛰️ Le prochaine lancement #Ariane6, #VA270, a été annoncé pour le 27 août pour sa première mission en orbite de transfert géostationnaire avec le satellite météorologique MTG-I2 d'Eumetsat.

#Neutron was designed to lift 13,000 kilograms to orbit . That puts it in the medium-lift category, comparable to the variant of Europe’s #Ariane6 that flies with two solid rocket boosters. Ariane was not designed for reusability ♻️ as Neutron was.
