Rebuilding my #homelab once more. I switched from #k3s to #talos quite a while ago. As it goes, my experiments left k8s in a ... well ... undefined state. Time to set it up all over again. Sending a huge thanks to Jochen from a few months ago for automating everything. #Talos + #Ansible + #Argo make for really nice experience and I got all my services back in no time, including data.

Had an incredible session with #ClaudeCode yesterday debugging why my #homelab #k8s ingress was having trouble after every restart.
It went through my #argo/#helm config, used cli tools like arp etc, ran #netshoot on specific nodes etc to finally diagnose it as an #metallb stale arp cache problem.Just watching it go through the diagnostics was sometimes so educative!
Using claude code (or any llm client agent for that matter) for infra troubleshooting is underrated! -

@fyw321 @geerlingguy My 8 node cluster costs around 55W via POE. It is 3 pi4 8G control+worker nodes, and 5 pi4 4G worker-only nodes (1 is actually 8G.)
Storage is #iscsi on spinning rust on #TrueNAS, but you can do all this on local disks.
