So you want to build a piece of high performance, deeply pipelined hardware, and write a device driver for it?

The hardest problem is usually: "How do I bring it to a clean stop?"

Get this right. Early.

I hear SW folks proposing "optimisations" to stop the pipeline 10ms faster at the expense of corrupting kernel memory when unexpected errors occur, and I hear HW folks asking "Why do you need to do that? Just reset it!"

Don't be like these people.

falls ihr auch das problem habt, dass bei #inear #kopfhörern eine seite viel leiser ist, das ist die lösung:

1) Put in the ear the right earbud
2) Turn on music
3) Increase volume to maximum (ignore label which says you can damage your ears)
4) Take the right earbud out and put it in the box
5) Take the left earbud out and put it in your ear
6) Turn on the music and increase volume to the max
7) Decrease volume to normal
8) Put the right earbud in the box
9) Close the box
10) Open the box and first put the right earbud in, then left one - problem with volume should be fixed.
