60 participants and 25 lecturers from twelve countries have finished today an inspiring week at our Franco-German summer school “Open(ing) Science? Digital Humanities in Area Studies” @ @recentglobe. Learning and discussing together as an area studies community about DH methods and tools, open science, ethics and AI. We also had much fun 😎. Organization: A Franco-German team from Leipzig & Paris, greatly supported by the CNRS and DFH-UFA.

The report unfortunately seems not to take in account the challenges of DH researchers that deal, for example, with languages with non-latin characters or different understandings of data sharing/archiving by local cooperation partners in their field work. Did you consider these questions?
