I also tested it with the HC05 and a LSM303DLHC module attached. Works fine, but I need to find a better place for the compass, since the servo motor disturbs the measurements.

I decided to swap it with a Bluetooth module. But first, I cut a perfboard to fit into the free space next to the motor shield. Soldered the pins and a pin header for the module, including resistors for the voltage divider.

I got this talking #DrWho 50th anniversary UK #Dalek #model quite a few years ago, and thought I could enhance it a bit.
I opened it and already bought some motors. First goal is to make it move on its own.
For now, I'll use the #ArduinoMega2560 #microcontroller that I got for my birthday, and assembled an #Adafruit motor shield with two motors. I hope to make the head turn, too, but will have to find out how to open it further.
