The #dust we study comes from all over the world. And as the #Arctic continues to warm, more dust from that part of the world will factor into our research.
We keep a close eye on what happens in the Arctic regions of our planet and the latest #NOAA #ArcticReportCard shows that the changes that are happening there are coming faster and faster.

The 2022 NOAA #ArcticReportCard is out (https://arctic.noaa.gov/Report-Card/Report-Card-2022) with important new information, including a change in the pan-Arctic #greening signal from the last two reports. Specifically that the #satellite greening trend has declined likely due to a changing #disturbance regime in the Siberian #Arctic, as well as an overall increase in the frequency of disturbances across the pan Arctic region. You can find the #tundra greeness chapter here https://arctic.noaa.gov/Report-Card/Report-Card-2022/ArtMID/8054/ArticleID/986/Tundra-Greenness
