Whew! Looking forward to not mapping charts anymore and admiring the other #Day28 maps for the #30DayMapChallenge. I used open data from the United Nations to calculate the percentage of landcover in square km for Madagascar. My #day26 map for the #30DayMapChallenge is more symbolic for the Minimal (less is more) theme. Plaquemines Parrish, Louisiana sits at the nexus of the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico. Less coastal erosion and fewer saltwater intrusions will bring more ecosystem benefits. Map shows a false color infrared composite of a Landsat 9 scene texturized. Living vegetation is red and water is dark blue.
