I'm OK, I think, with some "durable goods" being made, at least in part, with #plastic. What I'm definitely not cool with is when the plastic in those "durable goods" starts to sweat out a sticky goo after just a few years.
One example, a good kitchen knife made be #Arcos in #Albacete, Spain. After about 8 years of very light use, the blade is great, but the plastic is rotten.
Also some power tools overmoulded with "grippy / soft" plastic - total shit - rotten in 10 years.
