Hi @jennoit! I was trying to access the #Archivematica wiki at wiki.archivematica.org/ but no response... Is it temporarily down or is it closed for good?

#Archivematica (so strange the org has no presence on Mastodon, while being so involved into open source) has developed a METS-validator (https://github.com/artefactual-labs/mets-validator/).

The reason why I have not been aware of it is because... it has no #COPTR entry. (unlike METS Flask).

Conclusion: developers, please create entries in COPTR, it's become the reference for DP tools.

Artefactual has released v1.16.0 of its digital depot system Archivematica (and v.0.22.0 of the underlying Storage Service). This new release includes - among other things - a PRONOM update. Het Regionaal Archief Alkmaar heeft in samenwerking met de gemeente Dijk en Waard alle digitale archieven van die gemeente - tot dan toe bewaard in het uit te faseren DMS Corsa - met succes overgebracht naar het e-depot (de Archivematica - Memorix Archieven combi).
Een hele klus en een van de eerste e-depot projecten van deze omvang, dus: gefeliciteerd RAA en Dijk en Waard team!

"how does #Archivematica deal with fmt/unknowns and multiple fmt hits". @justinsimpson - multi-hits are fmt/unkown per config, for fmt/unkoen default characteristaion fule is FITS. if we do know the format, better tools are used as per format rule configs #amcamps18
