@jon @Vivaldi I think it’s great that this update makes it easy to switch between and try out different UI layouts. I also like that we can now save our own custom UI layouts. Plus, it’s nice that we can switch to an #ArcBrowser -style UI layout with just one click. :tony_smiling:

スナップショットだと新機能でほぼワンクリックで #ArcBrowser っぽい UI に変更可能になってたので、その件をブログに追記！
ちなみに現行正式版でも、この記事にある3ステップで Arc っぽい UI に変更可能です。 :tony_smiling:

どうやら1つ前のスナップショットでこの「レイアウトプリセット」機能が追加されたみたい。

One of my holiday projects will be finding an alternative to the arc browser. It's the best browser I've ever used but since it's now no longer being developed I'm starting to see some bugs and odd behavior. Im planning to eval ,chrome, edge, Vivaldi, with various customization. Ruling out zen browser and firefox for now. Let me know if I missed anything. #browsers #arcbrowser

@SnoopJ None of these, exactly; I run #ZenBrowser (a Firefox-based reimplementation of #ArcBrowser ), and when I open up a new window, I see the search/URL bar in the center of the screen. So, I voted "A search engine", even though invoking search is just one of the things the bar can do (it can take a URL straight, a reference to another tab to switch to, be used to look through history entries, etc.).

生成AIうんぬん絡めたいのであれば。そのまま Arc の開発続けて。有料で生成AI使った機能を提供した方が良かったのではと。

In the wake of Arc's enshittification and TBC's acquisition by Atlassian, I've been searching for a new "one browser to rule them all" kind of thing, and I'm coming up blank. There are plenty of things that come close to the Arc experience but nothing that quite matches it. I'll miss it dearly. #ArcBrowser #Tech

It’s still pretty much a death knell for a consumer product…but I’m actually exactly in Atlassian’s target audience at work for their plans

What a surprise: Atlassian is acquiring The Browser Company.
But I assume that this deal won’t bring back Arc back from Maintenance Mode. Looks like the focus of the deal is Dia.

Im still sad that #Atlassian consumes the #AICoolaid through an IV line.
I’ve been using the #ArcBrowser as my primary browser for more than 3 years now. Been emotionally preparing to leave since the announcement of Dia.I have no idea what the business case was for Atlassian.
