Hey coffee nerds, did you ever try to brew pure #robusta as pour over and drink it black?
I picked up a high quality one from Uganda at my local roaster. It has interesting notes but I am not sure if I can get used to the astringency in the after taste. With global warming it would great to have an viable alliterative to #arabica..

#Coffee prices hit record high after challenging growing season
#Arabica coffee, a type of #coffeebean largely grown in Central and South America, sold for $3.44 a pound earlier this week, beating the prior record high of $3.35 set in 1977. #Brazil the leading producer of arabica experienced extreme #drought has led to smaller harvests.
The price of #robusta, another coffee variety, is up 80% year-to-date due to #climate challenges in top-producer #Vietnam.
