At Aquatic Park today, I threw my floatable Beast *way* into the water (like 100 feet out) on the right of 3 (because I am struggling with late release on backhand), then look what was waiting for me after I threw a high forehand that hit the second tree and dropped into the muck short on 18!

nice update!! from an email from Fran Hegeler, chair of the #aquaticPark and pier project:

“Our collective efforts culminated in a letter from Speaker Pelosi to Department of the Interior Secretary Deb Haaland’s office detailing the Pier’s current deteriorated state and closure and requesting $15 million in funding to begin the process to rebuild the pier. The strategy is to get the project shovel-ready, positioning it for additional funding to achieve our ultimate goal.”
