PS: there's a small pond in that garden which these ducks made their home.

1st cases of #avian #influenza in #BaldEagles were confirmed in April 2022. Since then, the # of cases has #skyrocketed w/ #infections reported not only in bald eagles, but also in a variety of other #birds including #vultures & other raptors, #waterfowl , #AquaticBirds like #pelicans & #herons , commercially farmed #poultry & some #songbirds . While 6,200 cases have been #OfficiallyReported across #US this number is most likely an #undercount
