  6. As much as I enjoy using a nice, smooth #pen (preferably gel or rollerball) I can’t deny that there’s little that compares to the joy of writing with a freshly sharpened #pencil. Currently using an #Apsara Absolute (an Indian school pencil) and it’s absolutely wonderful.

    Oh, I never mentioned my mild obsession with pencils? I’ll have to show you my collection sometime. Here’s the one in question.

  11. This stunning circa 12th century carved sandstone figure of an #Apsara from #MadhyaPradesh was withdrawn from Bonhams auction of 8th April 2014 as the legal provenance could not be provided by the seller.

    It still awaits repatriation to #India as the paperwork is yet to be completed.

    The figure stands in a Tribhanga pose, the body bending in one direction at knees, other direction at hips & then at neck & shoulders.
