Oh glory hallelujah, I got my Apple TV remote to control the actual TV again! A reboot of the remote and finding and turning on the setting to actually control the TV in the Apple TV settings was all it took. I wonder how it turned itself off though? #appletv #appletv4k #appletvremote

Upgrading our old second generation Apple TV to the new 4K model was such a delight, especially finding out that the remote magically controls the actual TV as well somehow. Our TV remote broke years ago, so this was so fricking amazing. Until a couple of days ago when it suddenly stopped working, and damn near made me depressed. Oh to be given something so wonderful just to have it taken away again 😩 #appletv #appletv4k #appletvremote
