    The Apple money story is the gift that keeps on giving.

    The original amount put in escrow ( and supposedly under solid professional management) was €14.3bn .

    It is now worth, checks notes, €13.8bn.

    So somewhere along the road since 2016 the folks entrusted in the management of this ‘lost’ €500m.
