Apple pracuje nad nową generacją Studio Display
Apple opracowuje nowe monitory Studio Display – nazwa kodowa J427 (2. generacja) i J527 (potencjalnie 3. generacja), donosi Bloomberg.
Druga generacja Studio Display, planowana na 2026 rok. Trzecia natomiast lub alternatywna wersja monitora, z różnym rozmiarem ekranu lub specyfikacją na bliżej nieokreślony czas. Przypuszczam, ze chodzi o to samo urządzenie i premierę w jednym czasie.
Sprzęt o nazwie kodowej J527 sugeruje, że monitor będzie miał 27-calowy wyświetlacz. Istnieje szansa, że J527 to nowy Pro Display XDR, ponieważ obecny model ma już 6 lat.
Apple testuje różne wersje Studio Display, co sugeruje, że premiera drugiej generacji jest coraz bliżej.

My higher end 31“ 4K screen with built in calibration and profiling is about 10y old. A while ago it started to black out occasionally for 1-2 seconds. Since it’s just 150 ppi I just checked again for alternatives with >200 ppi in case this one fails.
Sadly, even 10y after the 27“ iMac Retina got released there’s nothing from NEC/Sharp or Eizo. Heck, nothing besides Apples ProDisplay XDR, but I need DisplayPort…
