  1. I try to get my Apple Silentype Printer running again. After changing a 74LS00, replacing the 74LS673 with two 74HC695, repairing the coupling between one motor and the paper transport with a 3D printed replacement I finally damaged the flex cable to the print head while trying to clean the head. :-(
Any chance to get a replacement cable? Or make one?

  7. Aha! It's here!

It's a RGB Universal adapter from @MuseumJoe jcm-1.com/product/universal-vi - I bought one two years ago for my Tandy CM-5 but sold it around the same time I sold that monitor (which was a mistake, should have kept both).

I'll be able to test that new-to-me CGA monitor soon. I did also buy a DB15 cable extension because space is a little cramped if I connect the adapter directly behind my Apple IIe.

  21. @blakespot I have a TTL RGB card in the IIe - Taxan Video-7 80 column/64k card (model 410-64) . It's very similar to but not identical to the Apple-branded RGB Video-7 80 column card that was released in 1984 which also uses the aux slot. Both of these cards' connector are very close to the Apple III RGB connector, so are able to use a
JCM Universal Apple RGB Adapter by @MuseumJoe to connect to a CGA monitor (see the link for details about the adapter). Bought it before I found the CM-5 and I've been happy about how well it works.
