So, next week the apple blossoms should be blooming in my favorite orchard (atop a hill in the next town over). I'll be able to gauge things by looking at the neighborhood trees. Taking in the blossoms is one of my traditions. Back when I was a kid, we had both apple and pear trees in our yard, and lying in the grass atop a blossom carpet always grounded me (and still does). (Pic is from last year.)
