This article pulls together some thoughts I’ve had on the rise of vibe coding. Sure, you don’t want to vibe code, let’s say, a new Social Security database, but apps for personal use? Why not? Perhaps Apple could add a lower tier developer license or a higher iCloud Pro tier to allow personal apps that can’t be distributed but could be shared like Shortcuts. We could exchange apps as recipes instead of as cakes, while the App Store serves those who can’t bake.

Displaying “Processing Payment” when downloading a free app from the App Store is such horrible UI/UX.

Plenty of bad and annoying things about Apple and iCloud in particular, but one good experience I've always had is if I buy something on the App Store or a subscription or anything through the Apple Store, and then ask for a refund within a few hours or days, they pretty much always refund it in full within 24 hours of the request.
It makes doing things like trying out a bit of software... realizing I don't like it or it doesn't do what I want... and ‘giving it back' much easier.

Unless I'm missing something, I'm very surprised that Apple does not allow favoriting apps in the various App Stores, and being able to look at that list of favorited apps (preferably across platforms). I have several I want to buy when I can afford it, and have to notate them in Notes instead.
