    Apophis is one of those close orbit asteroids that newspapers like to say is definitely going to destroy us on some future date because if it's not 'Aliens' its 'Doomsday' with Space stories.

    Instead looks like we're going to land on it and follow it around!

    Interestingly, that's a Friday the 13th.

    According to NASA, the #asteroid will safely clear the planet, but "Earth's gravitational pull during the close encounter could potentially 'stretch'
