If you think #Rowling's #aphobia is somehow random or will shock her #transphobic followers enough for them to give up on her, I assure you: it's not, and it won't. Transphobia and aphobia have gone hand-in-hand for a long time now, and ace exclusionism is often the first step down the #TERF pipeline (because if you can convince people to exclude one type of #queer person, it's easier to convince them to exclude another).

I recently listened to an interview w/ Jasmin #Benoit about a study on neg. opinions on #asexuality in the #UK from February 2025.
It’s the same study that found that 31% WRONGLY believe asexuality can be "cured" (🤮). (https://www.kcl.ac.uk/policy-institute/assets/asexuality-in-the-uk.pdf)
Interesting to listen to, explains a little how studies are made. And asexual #research is RARE.
The funniest/saddest part is that researchers expected that aphobes would hide their #aphobia. No, they don't.
