2022 has been an interesting year to say the least. Ups and downs all round but at least there were at least as many ups as downs.
Feel like that’s kind of reflected in my Top 30 this year. Here’s to 2023 and hopefully seeing a bunch more of these bands live 🎆🖤

Towering above it all is #Obongjayar with "Some Nights I Dream Of Doors" he's my favourite artist in years and the most exciting musician right now. Second most listened to record is "And They Will Know Us By The Grateful Dead" by #Trixsi. This defies convention. It is metal, but with huge slabs of doom laden bass and percussion, experimental jazz patterns and polyrythms.
All my boxes ticked.
Sorry, it's not in the slightest bit Christmassy.
