Yeah posting about #Whina again because it slayed me from the first frame. The filmmakers and players had a massive responsibility here and they made a film that touches, educates, inspires, and brings you laughter. I’ve been a fan of Māori film ever since I first saw Whale Rider 20 years ago and this one really really got to us.

The filmmakers and players had a massive responsibility here and they made a film that touches, educates, inspires, and brings you laughter. I’ve been a fan of Māori film ever since I first saw Whale Rider 20 years ago and this one really really got to us.
