@tennis Why do Siniakova and Townsend have Siniakova serving from that end? I know you will often have one player start service in a set, but the sun is so disadvantageous at that end for a right-hander.

@tennis Hseih and Ostapenko are just too good in that tiebreaker. Siniakova especially just a tad passive. To close that out they needed to be fully committed on every shot. A moment of wavering and they lost it. That hold by Ostapenko at 1-3 down seemed to be the critical game.

@AdminKirsty @tennis When I heard Djokovic didn’t practice at all, I wondered if this was going to be like Indian Wells 2022 where playing Carlos broke an older player. In that tournament, Rafa decided to play the final with a fractured sternum. I always thought that he probably set his season back by playing that match, which he didn’t have a chance of winning. It gets harder to come back from injuries at this stage. Rafa was able to bag one more slam title after that injury, but he was playing better than Novak has been.
