I'm using #AnySoftKeybord on my phone as #KeyboardApp, but I have a quite annoying #bug with the suggestions feature: It #autocorrect its suggestion, when deleting characters🫨

Makes it really annoying, when I want to change e.g. my search phrase slightly, or fix a spelling mistake, as it screws up the field 😑

Opened an issue, but I don't expect to see a fix soon 🫠
In the meantime I'll try keeping the suggestions off, but this also means no spell-checking 🥲

Tippst du irgendwas, sendet Googles #Gboard Tastatur App das übers Internet an #Google. Das merkst du zum Beispiel, wenn Google dich dann fragt:

„Möchtest du dieses #Passwort im Passwort-Manager speichern?“ — Bei Google kann es dann auf jeden Fall schon gespeichert sein.

Ich nutze eine freie #OpenSource Tastatur #AnySoftKeybord, die nichts sendet und speichert.

Die neue Version des #AnySoftKeybord vergisst bei mir nach dem Neustart von #Android seine Einstellungen und die zusätzlichen Sprachen und Tastaturen.
Ist das bei Euch auch so?

Ich nutze auf meinem Smartphone immer noch AnySoft als Tastatur.
Die ist alt und wird auch nicht mehr gepflegt. Anscheinend.
Sollte ich wechseln auf HeliBoard?

@ifrit @pancho @villares também mudei hoje para o #heliboard. Estava a usar o #AnySoftKeybord mas há muito que não é atualizado.

@Kevin20221110 @mrakmm I finally got around to trying the https://github.com/erkserkserks/openboard fork of #OpenBoard with the native gesture library. I definitely like it more than the #AnySoftKeybord, so thanks again for the recommendation.

Ja, genau so mache ich das: #LineageOS und 98% #Fdroid-Apps inkl. #Blokada, #AnySoftKeybord.

Bei dem „normalen“ #Ubuntu bin ich immer wieder erstaunt, daß Google im Firefox-Browser so selbstverständlich „eingebaut“ ist...

Aber entstammt Android nicht sowieso #Linux?

Mir ist bei einem Betriebssystem für Smartphones wichtig, daß ich apk-Apps (aus F-Droid) benutzen kann.
