Tried to go to #Pride today and I just felt so hopelessly alone. I was in my normal café that I go to and, well, it was so much busier than usual. And everyone came in with someone. A family, a partner, a friend, a something. And then there's just me; just frustrated and in pain and clearly looking upset. And that was something I knew wasn't going to help or anything, right? Nobody's doing anything except just celebrating and being happy, they're not hurting anything. But then I get chances to speak or people say things to me, and I either clam up or act defensive. I'm happy I can at least reflect on this and write about it and know what I want to bring up to my people that I talk about these sorts of ideas with, but the FOMO in me wants to not be a social wreck for all of Pride Month again... #MentalHealth #anxietyandstress
