I have recourse to the indignity of proof. Other people have wider powers.
For example, consider Ramanujan, the great Indian mathematician whose early death was a loss to science analogous to that of Galois. It was said of him that each of the first hundred integers was his personal friend. In other words, his insights of self-evidence, and his delight in such insights, were of the same character as most of us feel for the integers up to the number 5.

There is very little large-scale understanding, even among mathematicians. There are snippets of understanding, and there are snippets of connections between these snippets. These details of connection are also understood. But these fragments of intelligence succeed each other. They do not stand together as one large self-evident coordination. At the best, there is a vague memory of details which have recently been attended to.
This succession of details of self-evidence is termed *proof*. But the large self-evidence of mathematical science is denied to humans.

New addition to the backyard #ninja course: Climbing holds & a cargo net (for us big folks who can't hang for long by just our fingers LOL).
This was the last remaining long empty side. The holds were really hard to find at a good price for a non-commercial buyer in Canada. 😭
Ran out of tee nuts so don't have the last 3 holds up but those will be next week. And this is actually only half the length of that side but have to source more holds.

Used my new Rip Cut jig (sled?) for the skill saw to cut down a sheet of plywood & begin building a set of quintuple steps to go with the backyard ninja course. Really slick.
Very simple design, legs fold down for storage. 👍
Ran out of 2x4s before I could make the rest. 🙃

I added some cool new additions to this year's backyard ninja course. 💪
A 2-jump salmon ladder.
And a removeable fire pole!
Used reclaimed poles & pole brackets from our old trampoline that we took down.
(I'm laying on the grass for the fire pole photo.... it's not actually 3 stories high. 😆)

Some endless sanding plus a bright yellow paint... and we have 2, 2x5' "cheese wall" hanging climbers. Turned out awesome!
Will put a second coat on tomorrow then hang them up.
