A little #Dendrorhynchoides curvidentatus meets a #Liaobatrachus grabaui!
This idea was inspired by a drawing suggestion my lovely partner made (almost a year ago now, whoops), where she said I should draw a lil #frog!

Sinomacrops bondei was an #anurognathid #pterosaur from China! 🐸
The only described specimen is crushed, but the head is preserved mostly on its side, which is normal for most #pterosaurs, but very rare in anurognathids! 👀
You might have also noticed the long tail!
#Anurognathids usually had short, nubby tails, but #Sinomacrops is special for being one of the few that has a much longer tail! -
Jeholopterus ningchengensis was an #anurognathid #pterosaur with a wingspan of just under a meter!
Its generic name translates to “Jehol #wing”, and refers to the Jehol Group, where it was originally thought to have been from. Its specific name refers to the Ningcheng County of Inner Mongolia.
