Two birds with one stone:

in trying to get consistency with Rid's face and characteristics I end up actually doing very nice and sorta thorough studies on faces/portraits! 70 more heads of Rid remain :D

Soon I'll know his face better than mine xD

Final version of the pose! Inked up and ready to go!

I am now positive that this is 100% Rid the main character of #Antumbra!

Inked it using a Kuretake fine brush pen and some uni 03 pigment ink pen. For values I also added some pencil!

Whoever wants to can leave a comment as to what kind of person(ality) they think he is.

And tonight having finished with the commission for my flatmate I went back to my own projects and specifically #Antumbra MC, Rid.

I hope I depict his character and composure clearly.

Rid and Cin (#Antumbra characters) character sheets have been completed! Rid's one-shot story (and also pilot for the series) script has been written and Cin one shot story concept/idea is almost ready! Sooo pumped up! :D

#Antumbra is back in action! Finished the script for the pilot, a self-contained one-shot to present a Rid story and pitch what Antumbra is all about.
And also worked on the final version of all the design and some fine details of the sword that Rid will wield!

I just had to reshare (instead of reposting) as this is my biggest pride when it comes to #Antumbra so far :3

Yet another character from #Antumbra realistic portraits series. NULL. Xe/Xem pronouns, nonbinary full-on cybernetic prosthetics apart from the brain (concussions choice for reasons revealed later).

Edit: changes pronouns to xe/xem. These are closer to nonbinary. And they are closer to NULL's philosophy and approach to life than xem's own gender or sexual orientation :)

An apology to all the people who bought #Antumbra ch.00 and supported me on it!

All the inconsistencies and redesigns of the characters came up the character compared to the presentation at the first chapter were due to me shaping the characters up even more and learning more "tricks" of the trade (i.e. manga making)... Part of the process of improving the plot and honing my skills... I was but an amateur then (still am lol) only learning how to even make a spread and correct mistakes. I hope and will try to make up for it with the redesign of ch.00 and the next one! The art is far from perfect, but the characters have been formed :)

Again, thanks for sticking with me and supporting back when you did :D

What I thought would be chapter one for #Antumbra will be probably a whole new arc/saga of the main char.... Chapter one will not start from the very beginning... But it will start from the beginning of the descent to the darkness of the story and the plot. It will start down and ugly.

Ghenkov, is a very eccentric persona and the 5th major character of #Antumbra. The next one to be presented will be the one and only main char, Rid!

Now inking starts to scare me XD I think I'll absolutely fail with making them shown as I want to!

Did the inking for #Antumbra logo. I'm really liking how clean it looks this time. More spaced characters and the moon is lower, but I think this leads to a better overall effect.

I am not really sure though where to put the japanese characters... Where they were (bottom right) or on top of the logo? :thinking_rotate:

Decided to rework a bit the title of the series... #Antumbra is back in action! (Even as just a title)

A MAJOR page of #Antumbra is nearly finished after a LOT of delays and a LOT of time... It's going to be send for 2025 #copicaward, but the idea is to have the idea and feelings of what this manga is about in this page!
