  1. Antonio Margheriti’s Web of the Spider is a colour remake of his excellent 1964 Castle of Blood. With Klaus Kinski as Edgar Allan Poe! A good slightly offbeat gothic horror film featuring ghosts (sort of) and a nice aesthetic. Cool ending.

  6. Antonio Margheriti's Yor: The Hunter from the Future (1983). About a prehistoric hunter but that's not really what's going on. Looks terrific. Fast-moving, action-packed. Feisty sexy women. Has monsters and villains and crazy twists. Terrific.

  7. Antonio Margheriti's The Golden Arrow is a 1962 Italian Arabian Nights adventure/romance. It's a rather bland kids' movie rather than a full-fledged peplum, and with awful comic relief. It does look lovely though and it's reasonably enjoyable.
