remember that ACAB includes therapists and psychiatrists. even if your provider is leftist, even if they say you can trust them, they still by law have to incarcerate you if you are “too” suicidal. they work for a system that risks them losing their jobs if they choose their patient’s humanity over forced hospitalization.

psych wards treating people like they're disordered or unstable for not wanting to be locked up and have their every waking moment scrutinized should really be all you need to know to realize they don't exist to help people.

The idea that some people deserve or need to be traumatized and abused into being "fixed" is also the same principle behind why abuse is such a widely accepted component in the treatment of disabled and pathologized people. Just in case you didn't know.
